Job Description

We are looking for someone that is self-motivated and can handle multiple tasks at once to help individuals and families through the health insurance enrollment process in a manner that ensures that each customer receives an insurance product that fits their needs, and does so according to any applicable governing law(s).

 

A Life and Health Insurance License isĀ preferred, but can be retained after employment. Starting wage will be from $13-$20 an hour. This is a temp to hire position. Once you gain full-time employment (after 120 days), you will be eligible for health, dental, and vision benefits.

 

Job Requirements

 

Educate and advise clients about options on the individual market, including, but not limited to, describing plan cost-sharing elements and tax implications, identifying network and non-network providers, and providing information on premium payment methods.

Properly enroll individuals in insurance products in compliance with any governing laws and record accurate information in American Exchange’s CRM system.

Answer inbound calls and screen caller for eligibility.

Assist current clients with services issues such as life-changing events, billing issues and claim issues.

Understanding of basic health insurance terminology and PHI (HIPAA) compliance

Assist in maintaining clients health insurance throughout the year

Perform other duties as assigned

Salary: $13.00 to $20.00 /hour
