American Exchange, a Chattanooga TN based company, that provides Medical Billing, TPA  and Insurance brokerage services. We are seeking an experienced sales rep to facilitate and accelerate the revenue and growth of our Medical Billing Services across the U.S.  


The ideal candidate will possess the following:


-Sales experience in the Healthcare Industry

-Both Public Health and Private Practice knowledge

-Understanding of Medical Billing procedures

-Ability to travel if needed

-Experience working with Physician Offices

-Marketing experience in the Medical field


This position will:


-Help the organization meet targets by supporting the development of proposals, lead management, and other sales support tasks

-Work with Upper Management and the Medical Billing Team to develop a list of potential clients and project opportunities

-Research and contact potential clients

-Schedule face-to-face meetings with potential clients, conduct sales presentations and work closely with the Medical Billing Team

-Meet with Clients, Leads, and Staff on a regular basis

-Create, format and contribute to RFP responses

-Develop marketing strategies and materials

This position requires a strong knowledge of the healthcare finance industry. The ideal candidate will have experience with either a practice (public or private), Carrier or EMR/Billing software company. This position will also require traveling to conferences and client meetings. Travel is roughly 10% of the job. This position will also require prospect research, cold-calling and eventually leading demos, therefore we are looking for someone with sales and/or marketing experience.  


Desired Experience:

-Worked within the medical sales space

-Experience with medical claims and coding

-Private and public contracting experience 

-Team and revenue stream development 

-Experience working with a legislative body a plus


Salary and Benefits:


A competitive compensation package will be offered, including medical and dental coverage, PTO, sick leave and paid holidays.  The salary will be based on experience. Commissions will be paid on a percentage of billing revenue brought to American Exchange (2%-10% based upon award). American Exchange’s leadership is focused on growing it’s team and growing the business and has developed the mindset that growth cannot be performed without proper incentives.
